uMsinsi Press Made A Donation of Library Books During Ayanda’s Birthday

In line with Ayanda SpiceZito Mazibuko Hlabisa’s birthday celebration, uMsinsi Press has made a donation of library books to The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Days Saints: Bluff Ward in Durban. The Ward has identified a school and want to assist the school to establish the library.

In line with Ayanda SpiceZito Mazibuko Hlabisa’s birthday celebration, uMsinsi Press has made a donation of library books. Ayanda celebrated his birthday on the 22nd of May 2020. He has won KZN Young Achievers Award, Creative Class Category, October 5, 2017 in Bluewaters, Durban. In 2018, he won National Development Agency, South African Early Childhood Development, Best Publication in awards held on the 9th to 11th of December in Polokwane, Limpopo.

A ward official received the books on behalf of the Ward as the member of the group that is responsible for this project. Due to lockdown Msinsi Press was not able to meet the whole group. The books donated are by Dancing Pencils Clubs and published by umSinsi Press. More than 100 titles donated to be given into two primary schools in Lamontville, Durban.People interacted and wished Ayanda well on social media including Dr Gcina Mhlophe of  Gcinamasiko Heritage .  She wrote the following:

“Power to Umsinsi Press and the driving force behind Dencing Pencils – you continue to make us proud. POWER !! Nkosi Sikelela iAfrika”.
