Dancing Pencils and UmSinsi Press on World Book Day 2018

Felicity Keats, Dancing Pencils-founder and director with  Ayanda Hlabisa, Dancing Pencils marketer and publicist were at the Moses Mabhiba Stadium,presidential club 1, attending a stakeholders UNESCO meeting for Durban. Our city was approved by /* as being the 22nd City of Literature on 31 October 2017.

Ayanda the publicist was very fortunate to have met with Mr Mthandeni Dlungwana, a very humble minister, KZN Basic DoE Minister.

There were a number of resolutions and suggestions. This called for the next meeting to further discuss the programs and the formation of the office with officers to liaise with all relevant stakeholders. The office would ensure that the programs and guidelines are adhered into and deadlines. Events organizing, improving communication and disseminating all UNESCO’s activities by capitalizing on resources on our exposure. The meeting was balanced and the attendance included various creative people like, actress, visual artists, choreographers, dancers and dominating were authors and writers.

Questionnaires were filled to gather data from all participants in order to form a solid and functional committee.
