Our Dancing Pencils Literacy Development Project has been set up to give books written by Dancing Pencils members to disadvantaged or needy township or rural schools. We have books that will get South African children reading as they have been written by South African children and adults. With our extremely low literacy levels, this is worth pursuing.
This NPO has also been set up to pay for right brain training for mentors who will assist their learners in the skills of writing publishable work and of lateral thinking.
It has further been set up to pay for the origination of books, which includes typing, editing, book creation and printing.
